Making Money Whilst Travelling

Want to make money whilst travelling?
Want to save money whilst travelling?
This is the place for you, we're not millionaires yet, but here are a few ways we make money on the go:

Fiverr

One way to make money is by using the website:

Fiverr is a website that offers products/services/whatever you like for $5 or more. It's similar in that sense to Craigslist, but thankfully there are far less perverts on it.

So what can you offer on fiverr? Click on the photo for a great example:

What could you sell?
What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing? Do that! $5 of it.

Be inventive, don't sell yourself short but be competitive.

I offer English lessons, 30 minutes for $5 which is basically nothing, but it's something I enjoy doing. I get to talk to people all over the world, help them out and learn a bit about their culture and homelands too. As a traveller I love that!

Also, because I'm a traveller my living costs are lower than 'normal' people so $5 works well for me :).

If you're still stuck for ideas, have a browse through what other people offer and don't hesitate to email me if you have questions.

Bubblews

Bubblews is a way to make steady cash. It takes a while, but between us so far we've made:

$2000
Proof
I want to prove to you that it pays and it's not a scam, here's Tanbay's payment screen shot:

What is it?

It's a site where you get paid for writing and connecting with other writers, similar to Facebook.

You basically write 400 characters on whatever you like (literally anything, I normally write about what I've dreamt about, what I had for breakfast, or any other random musings I'm currently having).

Every time another writer views, comments or likes on your post you earn money

So when you begin it takes you ages to reach $50 (the minimum required to redeem) but the more connections you get the quicker it becomes.

Some tips for Bubblews:
  • Be friendly, make good connections and you will be rewarded (literally)
  • Make sure you write 400 characters or more
  • Don't advertise your own business or other businesses that are related to internet marketing on there.
  • You can only write ten posts a day, but it tells you if your over the limit

There's nothing you can loose with bubblews except a little bit of time maybe. But there's no sign up fees, it's not a scam and I find it's a great place to release my silly musings and get paid for it.

Find me when you're there!!

Affiliate Marketing

What is affiliate marketing?
I'm glad you asked. Affiliate marketing is where a business rewards you for customers brought to their website because of your advert.

What?

Okay basically, it's where you have adverts on your blog for a business. Then a reader of your blog comes along, clicks on the advert and hopefully becomes a customer for that business. You then get a % of whatever profit the business gets from the customer you brought to them.

Sounds simple right?

The simplest thing is, once you've got your head around it and set it up you don't need to do anything else. If you have enough traffic to your website and enough of your traffic becomes a customer for that business, you can literally make money whilst lying on the beach in Australia, or partying in Germany, or eating lush food in Amsterdam. Or whatever you want.

Want to get started?
We can't recommend Affiliate Window enough. It's extremely easy to use and they truly do have a dedicated support team - you ask them a question and they reply straight away! Can't say better than that!

They've already paid out over £426 million in commission! (Not solely to us though..)

How does it work?

1.  Start here:

2. You do have to pay £5 to join, but don't worry! As soon as you make money they give you the fiver back (they ask for it to check you're not a robot or a spammer).

3. Next apply through the site to the businesses you would like to advertise on your blog.

4. When they accept, you start advertising them on your blog. (Most have 80+% acceptance rate, but if they don't accept you, don't worry just contact them directly, find out why and fix it!)

5. When someone views your blog and clicks on the advert and buys something/ signs up to something you make a certain % (depending on which company it is) - some are as high as 25%. That's right, if you write it correctly, you can convince people to click on the adverts, and then you get paid for doing nothing! The work has been done.

The website is easy to use, you can pick a category (eg travel) and then for each company it tells you what % they pay you, how likely they are to accept you,  how long it takes to validate etc.

Have we convinced you?

Any questions, just drop us an email :)

Donate Button

This one you don't see that often on travel blogs, but I have seen it on a couple - one of which was in the top 100!

A donate button is a straight to the point way for people to give you money. Did they find your blog helpful? Are the feeling ultra generous today? Maybe they'd like to click? Maybe you'd like to click on ours ;) :

Just look how pretty it is, asking you to click it.

So how do you put one on your website?
Firstly you need a PayPal account
Then you need to follow this great step by step guide https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/get-started/donate-button
It's as easy as 1,2,3. Let us know if you get stuck!
