Surfing at Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach is just a short train and bus ride from Sydney, it was one of my favourite beaches that we visited in Australia. The sea is a beautiful blue, the sand is very clean. Be warned that it's pretty packed for an Australian beach, but that just means that there are more than three people there. There are lots of tourists, which makes for fun people watching.

We hired surfboards from a guy on the beach. It cost $25 for two hours, and we had to leave a photo ID with him. If it's your first time surfing I'd recommend you getting a surfing lesson. We had ours at Surfer's Paradise, Queensland and they cost $60.
